Serving Dignity to the Homeless
Servant leaders from Community Meals organize days of service where volunteers from big-hearted organizations like Bell and Serenity can serve a sit-down a meal with fellowship in Fort Worth's homeless community. Since 2018, we have personally served over 600 dignified meals. https://www.communitymeals.org
Stacy Washington's "This little Light of MinE"
2016 Community Project
Stacey Washington selects Serenity Transformation Home for her 2016 community project "This Little Light of Mine". The project will target homeless teen parents giving them an incentive to continue education, training, and mentoring by earning needed items for themselves or their child through Serenity Transformation Home.
The goal is to host a baby shower to collect new and gently used items to create a stock pile of supplies where the mothers can earn points to purchase. Items being solicited will include: car seats, strollers, wipes, diapers, clothes for both mother and child, gift cards, nail polish, hair accessories, formula, laundry detergent, prenatal vitamins, blankets, diaper bags, back packs, etc. education, and employment. My goal is to help stamp out homelessness in my lifetime!
